I’m privileged to be working with Susan Crawford’s efforts on One Web Day. It is a wonderful idea for a celebration of all the great things that the Web has brought to us.
Susan has asked for people to list 10 amazing things for which the web should be celebrated. My one thing (for today) is Relationships.
The web helps me keep connected to people who I don’t see often. From the earliest days of the Web, when we formed WWWAC to get people together to learn about and teach each other about the web, to today, when my Flickr photos can share my reality with friends, the web brings the world closer, and makes it a nicer place to live. Thanks, Web.
