Waiting for a seat at lunch today, I hear a familar voice ask for a table for 2. It’s Cousin Brucie Morrow, the world-famous DJ. He’s now on Sirius Satellite, but for years he had been on WCBS-FM before it died and gave birth to Jack-FM in NY.
Truly a radio pioneer. He was gracious, shook hands, introduced his wife, and we had a short chat about radio. Then he encouraged me to buy a Sirius receiver.
Maybe in my next car, but not now….
