Looks like Jon Udell from Infoworld has found some of that Activewords religion. Amen!

Meanwhile, Kevin is kicking my metaphorical ass on Mediagora. Or so he thinks :-)

Lunch today with Scott Heiferman from Meetup. The folks at Metafilter are giving him a bit of a hard time, but mostly about either venues or people not showing up. Two comments - 1. Suggest better venues. Meetup makes it easy for you to vote on them. Stop your moaning. 2. Show up if you sign up, or shut up. If THEY build it, you should come. Here are some serious veterans of the Dot Com boom days, working 9 in a room on a shoestring to start something cool, with about 80 meetups on a given night. Your one meetup doesn't work and you bitch to the world that the concept sucks? Don't get a bad buzz out and ruin it for the rest of us. I like the concept. I hope it works.

Last night, Santana rocked the PNC Bank Arts Center. David and I were there to enjoy it! A little deaf-er for the experience, but what an awesome band.

Tomorrow, breakfast (in America) with Jerry.

I'm enjoying catching up with old friends.
